1. Enable WSL:
enable "Windows Subsystem Linux" in Windows Feature
Reboot Windows.
2. List and Install a distribution
in cmd prompt:
wsl -l -o
wsl --install Ubuntu-22.04
3. Once installation is completed, set username and password
3. verify installed distribution, change default if necessary
